Let’s support one another by coming together on each Wednesday night to pray for the Church.
Prayer is imperative both in the life of the Church and in the life of an individual Christian. We suffer spiritually when our prayer life is at its lowest. We will easily give in to temptation. We will lack the power to do the work of God. Not only will our lives be barren, but the works of the Church will also suffer and her witness for Christ will wane. Consequently, the house of God will see decay. It is when a Church prays together that the members will stay together! When the members of the local Church pray collectively, there will be greater power and strength against the forces of the evil ones and much more work of God can be accomplished.
Every Wednesday night the church meets to pray:
English congregation – Wednesday 8 pm Chapel
Chinese congregation – Wednesday 8 pm Sanctuary
Tamil congregation – Wednesday 7pm Conference Room
The Bible has said, “I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.” – Matthew 26:31
Let’s also pray for our leaders.
